THE GOSPEL IN ACTION OF LOVE

THE GOSPEL IN ACTION OF LOVE

By this, we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16

The heartwarming atmosphere created during last Sunday’s Let’s Break Bread (LBB) made the pupils of the Demonstration School of Deaf and Blind in Mampong experience the Gospel of Jesus in Action of Love.

Once again, FHI practically demonstrated Christ’s Love through Sharing the Gospel, feasting and providing social support with the forgotten Deaf School at Mampong on Sunday, 15th December 2024, under the theme, This is Love, from 1 John 3:16-18.

The sixteen (16) team members who embarked on the outreach with the Executive Director, Mr Samuel Kofi Asiamah communicated the essence of the Gospel, how Christ sacrificially gave His life for us and emphasized the call to share love with others in tangible ways.

After the Gospel presentation, the team celebrated a festive meal with the students. Over 400 pupils were served, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with gratitude and smiles. The shared feast was more than food—it was a reminder of unity, compassion, and God’s abundant provision.

As part of the outreach, educational materials were distributed to the deaf students and special hygiene kits to the blind students as Christmas gifts. These materials, including stationery and learning resources, were provided to encourage the students in their academic journeys. Each gift was a symbol of God’s care and a demonstration of how love in action can meet both spiritual and practical needs.

The outreach concluded knowing that the day reflected Christ’s love in action. The students, staff, and volunteers left with a renewed understanding of the power of love shared through the Gospel.

This outreach not only touched lives but served as a beautiful reminder of our calling to love sacrificially and serve others as Christ has loved us.

We thank God for a successful love outreach and extend heartfelt gratitude to all FHI partners and associates for their immense support. Thanks very much and God richly bless us all.
