DECLARING GOD’S GLORY AMONG THE NATIONS

The dawn of a new year brings hope of a fresh start, new resolutions, and high expectations. For the past nine (9) years out of the seventeen (17) years of evangelistic ministry, we have trusted God for the yearly theme to keep the ministry focused with specific expectations. In the year 2020, the Lord gave us the theme “Salvation belongs to God” from Revelation 7:10. The turn of events in that year with the Covid-19 pandemic and its consequences of hopelessness and helplessness of many leaders across the world truly confirmed that Salvations belongs to God. Aftermath, the Lord encouraged our heart in 2021 with the theme, “Do the work of an Evangelist” from 2 Timothy 4:5.

Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. 1 Chronicles 16:24

As we waited on the Lord for the year 2022, the Lord led us to the song of thanksgiving from David during the return of the Ark of God to Jerusalem in 1 Chronicles 16:24, Declaring God’s Glory Among the Nations. FHI theme for 2022 is Declaring God’s Glory Among the Nations. The keyword in the theme is God’s Glory. God’s glory is God’s weightiness in His wonderful qualities such as might, beauty, favour, justice, honor, love, grace mercy, and many more. The exposition of Ezekiel 10:4 shows the manifestation of God’s glory in the temple of old but in the new testament believer, God’s glory manifest in our personality, character, and deeds.

Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub and paused over the threshold of the ^[^a^]temple, and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord’s glory. Ezekiel 10:4

In this new year, our expectations with the theme are as follows;

Every member of FHI’s family and Friends will encounter and possess God’s Glory which is the manifestation of who God is in every area of their lives and in any circumstance they find themselves.
Declare God’s glory among the unreached, forgotten and neglected nations with a manifestations of miracles, healings and great faith during FHI outreaches.
Mobilizing others as partners and missionaries to join us in the declaration of God’s glory.

FHI welcomes the year 2022 with purified and sanctified hearts to be simply used by God to declare His Glory. The ministry is expected to use the Miracle at Cana of Galilee in John 2:1-12 and the Glory of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 21:22-27 to prepare the various missions teams through training and bible study to be enlightened on the year’s theme. There is going to be Nehemiah’s mobilization approach in connecting God’s people to God’s Mission. In all, God will be known in wonders among many people groups throughout the year 2022.
