The Deaf can’t hear but they can feel the kindness of God which made them smile during the just ended Let’s Break Bread (LBB) at Swedru School of the Deaf. Once again, FHI demonstrated that truly God loves everyone including the forgotten Deaf community by sharing God’s amazing love with the Salvation Army Swedru School of the Deaf at Swedru on Friday 10th December 2021.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly1 loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Colossians 3:12
The LBB outreach was characterized with sharing the Gospel, feasting together, having fun and fellowship with the pupils, and sharing Education Materials as gifts to every child. We were blessed to receive the ministration of God’s word from our Mummy and Partner, Mrs. Wilhelmina Tete Mensah on the topic, God Loves Everyone from John 3.
In all, the twelve (12) members who embarked on the outreach shared the Gospel in act of Love to over 200 people (Pupil, staff, and some parents). In the end, 14 pupils gave their lives to Christ.
The amazing testimony of the outreach is that the sharing of Education Materials as a Christmas gift after the food and drinks brought smiles to their hearts. The sign language for thank you was expressed with deep smiles of gratitude to God. We thank God for the opportunity to share HIs Love with the forgotten Deaf community.
