A missionary without training is just like a blunt sword. A blunt sword will require more effort and time to accomplish the same task.
To attain maximum impact within a short period in an Islamic-dominated environment during Go-North Missions 2023, a total of twelve (12) missionaries were taken through four (4) days of training, and two (2) days in Accra and Wulensi respectively with six (6) different resource persons.
The training in Accra took place at the WEC mission house. On Friday 15th September 2023, Mr Jacob Opata led us to crown our fasting and prayers with a half-night service on the topic “The God in You”.
The training covered topics like Teamwork, Reporting, Outreach strategies, contextualization, Child evangelism, Islam, language learning, and dressing among others.
With these days of training, we are fully convinced that we are going to make an impact. We will be sharing about how we entered the various communities and continue to remind us in your prayers.
